Hi everyone, hoping someone can help.
Applied for the basic BA Amex card 6 months ago then decided to upgrade to the premium card. I’ve now hit the spend target for the companion voucher. I read somewhere on these forums that you can downgrade and get a pro-rata refund. Is this possible, given that I’ve only had the premium card for about a month? Sorry if this has been asked before.
Take a look at this recent thread:

Personally, I’d cancel, get the pro-rata refund on the annual fee and then direct your spending for the rest of the year to another card. You can then reapply around what would have been your old anniversary and start the companion voucher earning cycle again 🙂
