Hello, I’m now Diamond (waves at BJ).
I have another account that is gold and has a bunch of nights on it.Is it worth contacting HH to try and merge them, or am I asking for trouble?
Thanks.
Hello, wondering if anyone has any experience with this they could share?
Thanks.
I haven’t done this yet myself @Aston100 but I do plan to, if I successfully complete a Diamond status match. It seems Hilton have no problem with merging accounts and indeed the functionality is built into the Honors system – https://help.hilton.com/s/article/Can-I-merge-two-accounts
Sorry GGT, didn’t notice your reply due to lack of notifications.
Update: took 4 weeks to get this done.
Tried twice through Hilton web live chat, to no avail.
Tried through their website using the relevant option to merge accounts, again to no avail.
Eventually sent a complaint, followed by a chase, and then a further chase.
Finally they merged the two accounts. All points & nights transferred from the gold account to the diamond account.
