Aer Lingus BA tier points

A while back, maybe a year, there was an article about Aer Lingus trans Atlantic flights earning BA tier points .
The BA calculator hadn’t updated at the time of the article. As it still hasn’t now, am I right to think that this option hasn’t materialised?

They added them to the calc for a few days by mistake and them removed them and there’s been no announcement since last autumn.
