Aer Lingus Business Class availability

Hi, new to the forum as I’m only starting out on my avios career : )
I live in NI and definitely see value is using points to fly Aer Lingus from Dublin to NY/ San Fran/ Seattle/ LA. When I have a look at reward flights, there is NEVER any availability in business class. Anyone know why that is the case?

I have checked BA flights from London and there’s always some flights available in business class. Strange there isn’t for Aer Lingus

Because Aer Lingus isn’t BA 🙂

There’s a lot of reasons they don’t want or need to. You can find availibility for cash economy + Avios to upgrade to business class on EL but they have to be booked through their abysmal call centre. I managed one to Chicago pre-pandemic but then everything went sideways and it took 7 months to get the refund voucher and Avios back.
