Forums Other Destination advice Ahlan First Class Lounge at Dubai Airport

    Hi,

Realise this is not necessarily a destination request but wasn’t sure where else to put this topic.

Just wondering if anyone on the forum has been to the Ahlan First Class Lounge in Dubai Airport. My wife, two children (4 and 7) and I will be flying back from Dubai after our summer holiday later this year and was wondering if it was worth the £94 via DragonPass.

Flight leaves at midday, so we won’t be there for any specific meals, however, they do have a kid’s menu and a dedicated kid’s play area, which could be a godsend for the 4 year old and I suppose there is the benefit of a seat and a quieter space. However, last time we came back from Dubai, pre-Covid, I don’t remember Terminal 1 being a bunfight and I could easily get food and refreshment for a lot cheaper from somewhere within the Terminal 1.

Soooo, a rather long-winded way of asking if anyone has been to the lounge recently and any recommendations.

    Thanks!

Hi I was there for 2hrs on Sunday night. I rated it very highly. Small good quality buffet, the desserts in particular looked like care had gone into them. Also a la carte menus to choose from. I had chicken skewers and a burger and chips. All very nice. Mini jars of condiments and cloth napkins, etc. It is also spacious with an entire quieter area past the dining area and bar full of armchairs, relaxi-chairs and chairs with foot stools. Bathrooms spotless too. Overall I found it a haven of civility. I didn’t pay to enter though; entered by virtue of a QR first class boarding pass.

It seems this lounge is no longer available on DragonPass Premier+ as last time I checked it was on there
