    Hi all,

Has anyone had experience of using Airportr to collect luggage from home in London? Was the service good and do you get any notification when the collection will be as I see slots are 3 hours wide.

Also if anyone would like to send me a referral that would be great as understand that gives both of us 25% off and looking to book for collection this evening.

    Regards,

    Chris

There’s a couple threads on this service. Not sure if anyone posted their referral link though.

If you do end up using them, would be useful if you can add your own experience to benefit others.

There are sometimes premium 1 long window collection spots available (at a price). You select the time frame from the options they give you.

Though you may have left it too late for a collection today

Used it on a Virgin flight to TLV earlier this year. Collection was prompt, and the driver was very friendly and explained for process as a first timer on my doorstep. I believe if the bags are overweight they just pay and bill your card after.

In terms of process – they tag up your bag using with their barcode and it’s locked around your luggage zipper so nobody else can interfere or open the bag without them knowing.

Got an email with a link to track the driver on a map with ETA closer to pick up time, when the bags were collected, when bags were checked in and were luckily were waiting for me on the other side at Ben Gurion.

Good efficient service, only did it as I didn’t want to lug my bag to the office and jumped on the Lizzie line and straight to the lounge no hassle. Would do again on occasion but taxi is only a bit more for me all things considered so only the convenience factor there for me.
