Hi

I know US$100 Credit is appleid per stay. May I know do you have to pay using an AMEX card when check out?

The T&Cs say you must but it’s up to the hotel to remember to enforce it.

It would be better to have an Amex just incase but I’d try the other card first if it’s 0% fee or something.

I always provide an America Express card when I arrive (although the Platinum card is usually already on file and doesn’t need to be shown), but I use a different card with no currency exchange fees to settle the bill when I arrive. I’ve never been told that I should pay the final bill with American Express, but some people have reported here that they have.
