Amex agent says eligible for Platinum bonus but have a Gold card

P2, recently got a Platinum card around the time of the 60k / £6k / 6m promotion

Signed up to take advantage of the benefits on the change of the calendar year, some airport lounge access and to see if its generally worth having really, Whilst having a gold card.

Speaking to an agent on chat and as far as they are concerned P2 is eligible for the SUB, has anyone had any success in arguing this when they dont post.

If there’s a chance I will complete the spend target. If not I can spend elsewhere.

You might get a small gesture of goodwill. Definitely won’t be eligible, especially if both card are showing under the same log in.
