Just got my platinum card.
Do you need to activate these dining offers?
Do you have to reach £150 minimum spend , do you get full credit if the meal is under £150?
Does service (if paid by card) get included in the £150?
You get the credit for meals up to £150 in total – either a £150 meal or say 3 meals at £50 (or 10 at £15). And it’s whatever is charged to your card so service is included – only thing not included is the FX fee when dining abroad, so the meal will cost you a few quid.
You do need to activate the deal, yes. It will appear under ‘Offers’ online in a day or so.
Has anyone found any participating London restaurants where buying gift cards online triggers the credit? Duck & Waffle looks as though they handle gift card sales themselves, without using a third party.
