I have just passed the renewal date for my Amex Gold card. I had reached the spend to trigger the 10,000 point renewal bonus. However, I want to cancel this card. Product information states “The bonus points will be credited to your account within 60 days of your card renewal”. Does this mean I need to keep the card active until the points are received? Or can I cancel now and the points will follow? Thanks.
