Slightly bonkers 37,500MR’s for £1500 spend at Bulgari.

Has only appeared on my Centurion, out of a total of 7 seperate Amex accounts in our household.

On the MR card, Small Luxury Hotels, a generous £100 back when you spend £300 by 15/8

This is an interesting one as SLH is part of Hilton and given they are “small hotels” — very high chance that pre-paid rate (via online booking) will be processed locally regardless and therefore trigger the credit back? Might need to call and ask the the hotel to charge your card before 15/8 though.

It’s even more interesting as there are lots of hotels globally not just in Europe and the UK. The current Hilton offer has been expanded globally as well which is really suprising.

I can confirm this works as accumulative spend. Booked a room online and paid in full on booking via hotel website (c£250), settled food bill at check out today on card to take it over the £300 spend, received email from Amex confirming £100 cashback offer had been used. Hotel was Bishopstrow in Wiltshire, can definitely recommend, beautiful hotel, staff and service was wonderful.

Spend £1500 or more at Bvlgari, collect 37500 MR points once per card showing on my Amex Plat this morning.

I’ve got that too! Seems too good to be true!? Anyone actually used it or is it quite restrictive?

It’s valid online and at the Sloane St and New Bond St stores only, not Harrods etc., aside from that it’s simple.

If you’re going to make a Bvlgari purchase it’s pretty much a no brainer – unless you’re in Harrods Rewards and have Harrods Amex, together giving 5% store credit, then it depends on purchase price.

Harrods Rewards + Harrods Amex really is the sweet spot, absent this type of offer.

Rimowa did something similar a few years back – 10 or 20k MRs for someting like #1200 spend. I participated, banked the MRs and have since grown to like the brand, buying a few pieces here and there.

To answer my own question from a couple of days ago which may be a useful data point for others in future.

Having made a booking with Avis, I activated the new Avis offer a couple of hours later while the transaction was in Pending state. This morning the £30 credit has been added to my account after the transaction has been fully processed. While it obviously won’t pay out on a pending transaction it’s good to know that an offer can be activated after the initial transaction goes through.

Thanks again to @travelersolo for flagging that one in time for me to benefit.

Centurion has… £50 statement credit when you make one or more transactions totalling £200+ in participating hotel(s) at Hilton Asia Pacific by 15/9/2025.

…probably will arrive on other cards soon.

I’m confused by this one; main text suggests hotel spend, the linked PDF seems to only list restaurants (at least in Tokyo and Shanghai)?

Can’t see any mention of Fuel/Petrol Stations being excluded on the Morrisons offer

Normally very clear when they run the similar Tesco offer

I think the offer should apply to both PARTICIPATING PROPERTY and PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS, BARS & SPAS.

My morrisons offer says online only so that’s probably why there is no exclusion on fuel.

These badly worded offers concern me and if they don’t track usually means the chat or telephone service person will reject it. Recently I had one rejected as the terms were ambiguous and Amex wouldn’t pay as I didn’t pay for the Hilton in Rome on the card in GBP. I note it does say payment on check out which would suggest a stay would count and they have some of the hotels listed multiple times with each restaurant listed so suggesting you could pay in the restaurant. I’m not looking forward to a discussion when it doesn’t track.

Hey there, did you have to book the car rental through the Amex specific link and Amex Avis Worldwide Discount code to trigger the statement credit?
When following the Amex offer link on the app, the prices are higher than the normal Presidents Club prices so wanted to know whether the credit could post just from using the normal Avis website.

    Thanks!

Any Avis spend seems to count. I use carhire-ba.com, which now redirects to an Avis page using the BAC discount code.

Thanks – will give it a try on the normal Avis site and report back if the credit posts!

Morrisons sold off all (or almost all) fuel sites to Motor Fuel Group, so your transaction is with MFG and not Morrisons. Same reason you can’t use Morrisons GCs there. You’ll notice MFG on the signage above the fuel station shop.

Hi. Is this the right place to ask questions about the cashback offers?
If not, can someone direct me to the best forumn to go to?
My question is about the recent article on Hilton Asis spend £200, get £50 back. Rob said a prebooked payment “Should” count, but no guarantees. I assume this will be the same for the UK offer which I have added to my Platinum card.
I have just booked a £160 night at the Hilton T5 prepayment rate, and want to know if anyone has any experience with spending the extra, £40 in this case, for meals or drinks paid at reception in the hotel and getting the cashback.
    Any help is welcome.

Provided the hotel is on the list of participating hotels and you add the spend to your room in the period before the offer expires then yes it should work.

The problem with “I think the offer should apply to both PARTICIPATING PROPERTY and PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS, BARS & SPAS.” is the word “SHOULD”. Ity makes is so we are not sure, and hesitant to make the extra spend. Has anyone done this so we can change that to “DOES”????

    should

@chrishors the reason for “should” is in the one in a million instance it fails, so that should you hacked off when…

I’ve not noticed it being called out, I recently received a 5 Avios bonus per mile when buying a hotel via Avios hotels (powered by Expedia).

Whilst the hotel worked out £20 more expensive I received

    > 3,350 Avios for the booking (hotel was £335)
    > 502 Avios standard from BAPP
    > 1,675 bonus Avios

I thought the £20 extra was worth it for 5.5k of Avios (note that the £20 cheaper rate was paying in Euros via Wise – so no Avios).
