Amex Membership Rewards to Executive Club transfer speed?

Hi all,

I couldn’t see any recent points on the topic. Does anybody have any data points on how long you’d expect transfers from Amex Reward Points to BA Exec Club? Its been years since I’ve did it and can’t remember if it took the full three days it quotes on the portal.

I did a few transfers over the summer, and if I recall correctly, each time I initiated before midnight and around 4 to 6 am it was in my ba exec account

I’ve done this quite a few times recently, as I am transferring small amounts at a time, incase I want to Boost them. The points seem to arrive overnight from the day you enact the transfer.

Any recent data points on transfers? I have always had mine post overnight but yesterday evening I transferred 100k and it still hasn’t posted today.. I’m thinking perhaps it’s to do with today being a Sunday but getting a bit worried since there’s only one seat left on the flight I need. Anyone ever had a similar problem with Sundays?

Is usually overnight, so I’d be shocked if they weren’t there tomorrow.

Thanks Rob. I must have done 20+ transfer and all have been next day. Fingers crossed they’re there tomorrow!

As an update: Miles arrived this morning by 7am. Unfortunately the seat had disappeared some time between 23:00 yesterday and 7am this morning. That extra day can make all the difference ☹️
