Hello everyone.
First-time poster here (but long-time reader!); good to be here. 🙂
I’m moved to post here as I have been trying in vain over the last few days to use some AMEX Membership Points to generate a statement credit a specific purchase I made using my Platinum Business card. Try as I might, the usual option/process to do so has disappeared entirely from my online portal.
Frustrated, I eventually got in touch with AMEX’s live chat and the best they could come up with was “There are no changes with pay with points feature, you may be facing a server or browser issue . If you wish I can also select and redeem points towards the purchases.
This may be a temporary issue, There are no known issues at the moment and no new updates have been made with this.”
The operative was very helpful and kindly applied the points for me – but, I must say, this has made the whole process extremely clunky!
Just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced similar of late?
