Flew a QR business class flight from DUB to KUL where the DOH-KUL sector was with MH.BAEC number was entered at the time of booking and referred to by MH when seats were booked etc.The tier points for the first sector appeared quickly but still nothing from MH. I put a claim in for missing tier points from a partner airline but still nothing after nearly 2 months.
I know MH are struggling and have been in trouble with The Malaysian Aviation authorities (about engineering mainly but it indicates a certain malaise) recently but just wondered whether anyone had recent experience with getting their tier points.
Not that recent, but I flew a similar return itinerary in the summer of 2022 (from EDI though) with BAEC number showing on boarding passes. No issues crediting the legs that were on QR, but took over six months before all three of us finally got the tier points and Avios for the DOH-KUL and KUL-DOH legs on MH. Claims were all denied without explanation and had to raise multiple complaints before it all finally got sorted.
That’s a shame. We’re missing 140 + 40 from MH and I’d like to plan on what I’d need to maintain silver.
