Anything out of Singapore?

I’m off to Singapore for 3 weeks in December. I have a lot of Virgin points. Are there any opportunities to use them to fly from Singapore?

I think (but not 100% sure) you can still use them on Singapore Airlines in economy? Possibly also in Business for local flights. Been a while since I last looked though.

In theory yes. However that is peak travel season for locals and for passengers travelling via Singapore elsewhere so availability may be hard to come by !

+ I’ve never read or heard of anyone managing to book anything using them, I don’t think SQ offers VS all their availability

KLM did some 5th freedom in S E Asia pre-pandemic, there might be something on their route map of interest.

I’ve not been able to get the VS website to show me any option via any partner from BKK or SIN this autumn. I wonder if the website’s partner search capability is broken?

Yep, KLM has a 787 flying to Bali via SIN.

I’m not sure it’s ever worked! I search on another partner (eg United for ANA) and then call to book.

I don’t think Virgin Australia have flown their own metal to Singapore before and they aren’t doing “long” long haul at the moment at all. They put their code on Singapore Airlines flights
