Haven’t managed to find any clear cut info on this so asking here.
Flying to EDI with AE economy. Do I get lounge access as a BA gold member?
If not, will it help if I arrived on a BA flight earlier?
Assuming you mean Aer Lingus (code EI or EA) not Mandarin Airlines (AE) lol.
I believe it would depend on where you brought your ticket, BA or Aer Lingus? As Aer Lingus are not Oneworld it’s a weird situation where I don’t think they have to honour it if you brought direct with them

Lol. Yes, I meant Aer Lingus. The “Edit” button had disappeared by time I noticed my mistake.
In any case, they did let me in using my BA Status. I booked directly with EI.
