As per the title really, a friend has flights to Japan booked on BA but will be heading to Australia after Japan and then home from Australia. They’re very flexible on date and a solo traveller but I said I’d help with a few options for them before they firm up travel plans within Australia, as there’s no 241 they’re not tied to BA and they’re happy for a stop on the way home to break up the flight. Only requirement is Business class or first
Qatar might be the obvious choice here, because they offer so many options out of Australia. Search for each leg separately on the QR website, plus look at BHX as well as MAN.
100% Qatar. 90k Avios one way in business.
But availability is tough, if you see it jump on it at the 90k price
The DOH-MAN business seats get snapped up very fast, but at under 7 hours it’s doable in economy and a bargain with avios.
Thank you everyone I’ll pass on the Qatar idea, are they best booked via BA site or move points to Qatar to book them?
