At the end of March I booked Dublin to Sydney via Doha return on Qatar using avios for January 2023. Business/first out and business/business return. It priced at 225k avios and about €430 per person. When I looked for further flights a couple of days ago it seemed to be pricing at 360k avios return in business class. Has Qatar increased the avios substantially to be in line with the BA?
360k is what you pay when you choose flights with ‘x2’ next to them, which means you’ve agreed to pay double to release additional reward seats.
It remains at 180k for people who want to pay 180k.
