Anybody else sat on the Avios only flight to Mallorca? We’re waiting at the gate still from a combination of the weather, a crash on a slip road, waiting for champagne which all resulted in the cabin crew risking running out of working hours leading to a crew change. Think I’d have preferred to for go the champagne and only have been half an hour late.
There was a post in the Chat by @etting at 14.39 advising of the champagne and crew crisis!
Is this the flight that got moved to Danish Air Transport? 🙂
Don’t think so, it was BA0450 ended up arriving 2 hours 43 mins, all to make sure there was enough champagne & prosecco for one small glass each, oh and a certificate for being on an ‘avios only’ flight.
@Rob that was the Faro one in October – should be back on BA now as the DAT aircraft are off to Gatwick
