BA American Express Premium Plus Companion Voucher….who can use it?!!!

Long story short my wife has one and has decided to work for one more year in a school and it will be impossible to use by the expiry date! (Angry face!)
It is in HER name so I thought I would be able to use it as a solo traveller, being on our family account.
Am I depressingly correct to say this CANNOT be achieved as I have played around with it and of course her name comes up when you go to make a booking ( I did a dummy one to MAN!) and cannot change the name.
Thanks for any advice or tips from you gurus….such a bummer as had planned to use it but the school have pleaded with her to stay on for one more year!

Yes – your wife has to fly.
Only way for you to be on it is with her.
All I can suggest is a short haul weekend break as that is better that than expiry. Takes the sting out of Club Europe!
Yes unfortunately with 241 BA its HER only. The upgrade one Barclays, that you could use.
Surely you can find an opportunity to use it in the 3 months of the year that schools are on holiday?!
Err already booked Oct Dec Feb etc 🤭
