    Hi all looking to fly to Hong-Kong business class. ba Fly the 787-8 does any one know when the new suite will be in, not looking to book for a while also is the old business still worth it

    Work is only just starting on the 787s so unless you are planning to travel in mid 2025 you should assume it won’t be on.

    You are better off on Cathay Pacific (still oneworld) if you want a decent seat. Even better would be Qatar Airways as the trip would earn 560 tier points (almost gets you BA Silver) and better seat, albeit with a change in Doha.

    It’s currently planned to be a 787-9 for both flights in March 2025 (assuming before the timetable change), and I think they’re only starting to refit the 787-8 and not 787-9 at the moment, so even more unlikely you’ll get club suites.

    However, given it’s still a year in advance, it’s possible that there will also be an aircraft change

    I’ve a trip to HKG booked in November and it is definitely showing the old CW layout. Can’t recall what plane type was showing.
