    Good morning all

    Due to a complaint BA provided a £450 evoucher as compensation, if I want to book a flight (as vouchers are for flight only bookings) if I spend £200 would I get a new voucher for £250? It doesn’t really make it clear on the email.

    Any one have any experience?
    Thanks

    Chris

    All the evouchers issued during Covid cancellations could be partially used and would then generate a new evoucher for the remaining value. I imagine what you have will work the same way.

    People had varying success crediting them against BA Holidays bookings, not sure what the current state of play is there. You certainly can’t do it online, but may be able to over the phone.

    @AndrewT

    This ISN’T a Covid voucher though.

    Which is why I made that point clear, but are there different types of evouchers that the BA IT systems are capable of handling in different ways?

    There are several types of BA vouchers and the IT can manage to deal with them with no issue in most situations.

    I used a Covid voucher online the other day with no problems to part pay for a flight.

    But compensation vouchers are not Covid vouchers so best not to muddy the waters.
