Hi all,
I recently triggered the 241 voucher on my BA PP card and we have used it to book flights next Easter. As I cannot start earning towards the next voucher until next year I asked the agent if I could downgrade the card to the Blue BA card and take the pro rata refund which they said I will still eligible for.
However they said my account was not eligible for the downgrade and my only option was to cancel.
But if I cancel and for whatever reason need to make amendments or cancel the reward flights for next Easter – they will need the original card that was used for the transaction won’t they?
Have you tried to downgrade via this link rather than calling.
