Hi, I was hoping to get some advice. I have the BA Premium Amex, I have reach the spend to qualify for the 2for1 companion voucher and the voucher has now landed in my ba account. I contacted Amex informing them I would like to down grade my account to the free ba Amex and they are saying this is now allowed. Has anyone else experienced this?

Try simply applying for the free card through the website. If you are approved, you keep the same account number and they will send you new cards.
