BA short haul – no seat to select in Club

Good Morning! In less than two weeks I am flying to WAW from LHR in Club. Trying to select a seat now but there are no seats available to select, all crossed out. Checked on expert flyer and the first row in Club appears to be blocked (not paid) and three ET rows rights after Club also blocked. What does it mean? Are they going to extend Club beyond the first four rows? You can no longer buy a Club ticket on that flight, all sold out. Will I be able to select a seat at online check in?

Yes, you will almost certainly be able to at check-in, if not before when they move the curtain and unblock the front row. You can set an ExpertFlyer alert to notify you if any seats (generally or specific ones you would like) become free. You can expect significant movement in the fortnight before the flight.

Thank you JDB. Not fussy about any particular seat, was just aiming for an aisle. After reading few comments here I now worry about a possible downgrade since they no longer sell Club tickets on that particular flight. Let’s hope not.
