Hi.
We currently have two BA bookings that have ticket numbers structured differently. We called the call centre to redeem a 241 voucher for both of them and on the most recent one there seemed to be confusion about taking the final part of the payment.
Ticket numbers appear in App like this
125-XXXXXXXXXX-XX
125-XXXXXXXXXX
Anyone know why they are different?
Is it something we should query with BA?
Thanks
Perfectly normal.
I’ve had tickets with and without the two extra numbers at the end (which seems to happen where there are more than a certain number of flight sectors on the ticket)
All a call centre agent is going to do is tell you the ticket is fine and most likely won’t know the exact reasons why some ticket numbers are structured one way but not the other.
