Forums Payment cards Barclaycard Avios BAEC account lost link – and can’t re-link

Hi, apologies if this has been covered before.

Logged into my BarclayCard Avios account this week, to check on the pending Avios that will transfer at day 2 of next month.

I have an error message within the Barclays App telling me the accounts aren’t linked anymore and that my balance isn’t available. When I click on ‘link your account’ it takes me through the BA process that completes successfully, however back in the Barclays app, it still shows as accounts not linked.

Has this happened to anyone before and any suggestions to resolve please? I have re-linked several times since the start of the week and each time it says it completes but the accounts never re-link within the app.

Mine has been saying that for several months. I did successfully relink them at one point and it updated to show the correct balance, but then soon afterwards reverted to saying they weren’t linked.

However regardless of that my Avios still get transferred each month, so it only appears to be a real time reporting problem which might be irritating but not really an issue.

Same here (both the ‘error’ and the fact that I still get my avios every month).

My link is broken and I don’t have my barclaycard avios in my account for October yet.

    Same issue here.

Account unlinked, it relinks updates my points balance in app. Then unlinks. Premier points transferred. Barclard points haven’t. Also didn’t get my £5 dual award.
