BAPP earning avios on BA purchases, cutback?

I bought a ticket on the BA website using my BAPP and i noticed that I only got 1 set of bonus along with the base avios for the spending. I thought with the BAPP, you would get 2X the bonus plus the base avios but that does not seem the case now? Unless I am mistaken?

BAPP has always (or at least for as long as I can remember) given 3 Avios per £1 spent on BA compared to 1.5 Avios per £1 spent normally.

Is there a chance you got “3x” into your head as opposed to 3 Avios?

I think he meant 3 x 1.5…..
