Barclaycard Upgrade Voucher

Please can someone advise me.
If I book a one way Avios flight with BA using the Barclaycard upgrade voucher, can I then call British Airways customer service to add a return journey on to the same booking, using the same reward voucher to get an upgrade on the return journey?
