Forums Other Destination advice Best LHR T5 lounge for toddler?!

Recognise that for some the answer to this will be ‘no lounge’ and in practise that may well be the case… But I’m wondering if anyone has a recommendation for which way to go, and particularly if any have an area/room for kids. I seem to remember this at a no.1 lounge in Gatwick, but can’t recall seeing any at Heathrow

We have Amex plat, Priority pass and are flying club Europe so options would include the ba galleries lounges, plaza premium t5 and aspire t5.

    Thanks in advance

Hey – there are no kids zone in the Plaza and pretty sure it’s the same in the Aspire, but both Galleries South and North have playareas inside. The South one is just a bit bigger. If BA Gold, there’s also a play area in Galleries First.

There is also a general public play area close to the Plaza lounge.

Generally I’d pick the least busy BA lounge or t5b of you had a b gate flight, but all things equal I would go for Galleries South. The play area is nicely tucked away down one end of the lounge. It’s only a short toddle from there to views of the runway. The cinema room has little ice cream pots that go down a treat.

    Really helpful, thank you guys!

The ‘play areas’ in either of the BA lounges aren’t up to much for a toddler – they’re better suited to older kids. Your best bet is to hang out in the soft play area near gate A3
