I think both Air France and KLM fly to SGN, so you could probably route SGN-AMS-LHR/MAN or SGN-CDG-LHR/MAN. Bookable online with VS (Virgin) points, availability permitting.

In fact, you might even be able to ring Virgin and see if they can book you on the direct Vietnam Airlines flight from SGN to Heathrow (as they are now a fellow member of SkyTeam)
