Longterm Biz Plat holder, just taken out personal Plat.
I’m planning to cancel the business card soon and switch over to personal but my questions are:
Will my MR points just roll over to the personal card?
Will I need to tell the various hotel loyalty cards (Hilton, Bonvoy, etc)?

You should end up with just one MR account. Sometimes this process goes wrong and you end up with two — call up Amex and they will merge them.

No, but you need to login to personal plat account and link your hotel memberships one by one, so that they receive status from the new card.
