Booking Finnair reward flights on the phone

Hi,

If you need call BA to book a reward flight that is available on Finnair.com but not on ba.com, will BA charge a fee? I know that for other things such as open-jaw flights with Amex vouchers they waive it because it’s not possible to do online.

Finnair and BA may have different ticket bucket, you should be able to book on BA.com if the ticket is there. Otherwise I don’t think it will make any difference by calling.

The problem is that Finnair seems to release seats earlier than T-355.

Right now I’m looking at Finnair.com and can see tickets for 10th May 2025 whereas BA only lets me search up to 4th May 2025.
