Apologies if this is asked/answered routinely but when trying to book a couple of reward flights, I seem to be restricted to only myself and others in my Household Account. In this instance, I am wanting to book a friend. Do I have to add him to my Household account first? Thanks.
I think you would need to add them to your Family & Friends section (not your Household, unless they wanted their miles to be shared with you!)
No, there’s another area where you can add names of people outside of your household account where you can book flights for them. It’s in the same menu as where’s to edit household account members, called something like “my family and friends”.
N.b. Avios deducted are still apportioned throughout the household account.
