Booking Saudia via Virgin

I am attempting to book some flights to Riyadh with Saudia for late Feb/early March (I know Virgin will be flying there from end of March).

As I understand, I should be able to book Saudia via Virgin, utilising points in the process. I have searched for flights and the only options I am getting is KLM with a stop.

Could anyone advise if I have got the wrong end of the stick or if I should be able to do what I’m looking to do?

You should, but some partners are only bookable on the phone. If you think there is availability (check on another Sky Team site) then call Virgin.

Whenever I checked there was some generous availability on Saudia, bookable on VS website

Hi,
Did anybody had previous experience of booking and using their virgin points for a flight from london heathrow to jeddah operated by saudi airlines (saudia) on the virgin atlantic’s website?
I really want to know the exact baggage allowance being offered for economy class, its not mentioned anywhere when booking the flight,… only the miles are shown for the ticket i.e. 15,500 plus taxes.
If anyone could reply as soon as possible..

1 at 23kg, unless you’re travelling to/from the US/Canada on a sixth freedom or are STE/STEP, in which case it’s 2 at 23kg.
