Can 4 upgrade vouchers be used on one BA booking (as a family of four)?
Just wondering whether it’s worth chasing over two 2-4-1’s.We still haven’t had the answer to can three be used yet!
Someone did say that they successfully used two vouchers on one booking (by calling).
So assuming your family of four is two biguns and two weeuns then you could most likely do two bookings with an adult and kid on each.
Whether it’s worth chasing, only you can know. The pricing on a 241 tends to be a wee bit less so it’s probably down to now Avios rich you are and how much travel you do.
It can obviously be done as single bookings but whether they can all be on the same PNR (important if one person qualifies for free seating) is a different question.
If none of the group has status then no value in being on one booking.

Except if you have kids and are on one booking then BA seat you together free of charge. This is quite handy. Particularly with young kids.
And if you’re unlucky and there is a flight cancellation etc, life is much simpler if the system attempts to rebook you as one party.
Thanks both. Yes, 2 adults and 2 children here. If travelling by myself, it’s usually for business so wouldn’t use this.
Convenience is certainly a factor I was considering. Am currently bronze but it’s possible I’ll reach silver for this 4 voucher scenario (travel Oct 24-Sep 25) all earned on my account.
As for cost, will have to pick a few destinations and compare.
Term 18 states that a maximum of two upgrade vouchers can be used per booking.
“A Member can use up to two (2) Cabin Upgrade Vouchers issued under their Barclays Avios Rewards or Card for any one booking.”
So two vouchers per booking but you’ll need to call!
OK, that’s pretty clear from term 18. I suppose another permutation is to book 4 one-way upgrade tickets with 2 vouchers on one booking, and return either on a separate cash fare booking or another airline altogether. In this case, I could make use of the first pair without waiting for and paying the fees for the second pair.
Definitely need to do some calculations to work out which one is best for me. Now to pick a destination…
