How does one claim the £200? Do we need to save an offer first or is it just a case of book with amex travel and it should post?
Amex have told it is automatic. No registration needed, nothing shows on your account to show it is active.
Will believe it when I see a credi post!

Hmm so to claim it, is it just a case of booking £200+ with amex travel in one go and hope for the best? I was trying to find the offer that showed this benefit on amex, but couldn’t find it. Are you able to point me in the right direction?
Also, any data points for anyone else?
I noticed the £200 credit is listed next to my points total when I click through to Amex travel.

That’s interesting – on mine I only see the points… Did you get the £200 credit and then have it subsequently reversed? I did and am wondering if that is why I am seeing nothing!
Ok, i know how it works now.
When you go to book for amex travel, as you get to checkout, it’ll give you an option to apply your £200 credit. It’ll then get credited to your account with 3 days.

Right – thanks – that works for me too. Just booked the last night of our Pacific Coast Highway trip into The Palace Hotel in SFO via this route for what should be a net cost of only £76.50 (not taking into account the $100 credit) so let’s see if the £200 credit hits within 3 days as promised… I’ll report back here.
In the meantime, I input my Bonvoy membership number in via Amex Travel booking process and it has already appeared in the Marriott app so should be points earning too 🙂
