Can I book online and call later to use voucher?

Say if I am travelling and the seat I want becomes available can I book the seat using full upper class points and call up later to apply voucher.

I remember doing this when the wait times were huge it was allowed then.

Virgin really needs to sort out their IT. This should be so much easier if we can do it online.

@MCO Apparently it’s very much in the pipeline according to the CSA I spoke to, although be careful of what you wish for as manual intervention tends to be more liberal in voucher’s application (eg 4 for 1 UC redemption using 3 vouchers suggested by a very sweet CSA).
