My 2 period of dormancy with Amex is over and I’m about to start this:

However I noticed that I have been targeted via the Avios app for an BA Amex app card with a 60k sign up bonus. So I wanted to know if I could rearrange the order above (BA – Nectar – Gold/Platinum) and still get the maximum points?
You might need to read the article again (especially the bits about the rules). Applying for the BA card first will mess up most other sign up bonuses so be very careful about the order in which you apply for any cards.
Put simply. No
Once you apply for the BAPP you are no longer eligible for all other personal card joining bonus except for the platinum card.
However, the additional points from the BAPP deal may mean giving up the Nectar bonus works out.
You also give up any referral bonus for the BAPP deal so if you were factoring in anything there that plus no Nectar bonus may change your plans.
