Cancelling Amex Travel Credit booking

Hi everyone. Apologies for the repost. I’m looking to make a flight booking using Amex Plat travel credits.
Want to confirm what happens if and when I have to cancel the booking? The fare rules say there’ll be a £80 cancellation fee. Will Amex refund me the remaining amount, reverse the statement credit, and let me reuse the credit voucher later?

Dont quote me but if I remember correctly, if you cancel the booking via Amex travel with credit voucher. Itll be lost.
