I’m fairly certain I booked an outbound and return flight to Naples Italy separately. They both have different booking numbers which I think must mean this is correct. They were Avios bookings.
I’ve booked two seats on one return flight and one seat on another that day (afternoon, the first flight is 0830ish). I’m hoping for a second Avios seat to open on the later flight so I can cancel the two seats earlier in the day.
However, I’ve read you can’t cancel the return leg if you’ve flown the outbound. Does this mean that should a second seat not open up on the later flight, as long as I cancel the one seat on that later flight before I fly the outbound, I’m fine? Or are they all
Disconnected anyway as they’re on separate booking numbers?
If they’re seperate bookings BA neither know nor care about the 1st one in relation to the second. Cancel if you need to.
This “However, I’ve read you can’t cancel the return leg if you’ve flown the outbound.” only matters if they’re on one booking. Equally if you missed the 1st flight all others on that particualar booking reference would be cancelled automatically.
