Cancelling flights bought with avios

We potentially need to cancel flights. We booked them with BA using a companion voucher , 70k avios and paid £300

Does anyone know how it works

Can we cancel would there be a charge would we lose cash the avios or the voucher?

I heard you can cancel and get the points refunded maybe but not sure if that is true.

Yes, if you cancel more than 24 hours in advance you will get the Avios and voucher back (with its original validity) plus the cash with a cancellation fee of up to £35pp deducted.

Hi folks. One last question. Can I cancel the booking online or do I need to phone ? I see an option to cancel online but don’t know if that also refunds etc

You should be able to cancel online unless there’s something complicated about your booking. Follow the process to the end – it will also show you what refund you will get. Take a screenshot of the final confirmation as you don’t always get an email confirmation.
