Morning all. A Hilton Asia/Pacific £50 cash back offer has appeared on my BAPP – might be of interest to anyone travelling that way.

Looks like it’s just restaurant and bar spend.
Amex have just written to me saying the interest rate on my BAPP is going up – so I’ll pay 20p extra on every £100 owed every month!
They’ve apparently “reviewed” my financial status – without noticing that I have never failed to pay a credit or Amex card in full, every month, for at least 10 years (which is as long as I can remember, it may be 20 years!)
It cost them more to send out the letter than they will ever gain 🙂
(and no, I have not abused the card with Curve etc)
You really think that they looked at your account specifically?

Can I ask what makes you say this?
When I checked the t&cs it shows the following points:
Save to Card to get a £50 statement credit when you make one or more transactions totalling £200+ in participating hotel(s) at Hilton Asia Pacific by 15/9/2025.
Offer valid on checkout spend only.
Meetings and events are excluded from this Offer.
Offer excludes purchases of gift cards and vouchers.Sounds to me like the cost of a stay at the hotel would be included.
Anybody else been having g problems with Expertflyer searches recently?
Every time I’ve searched in the last 2 weeks I get the error:
‘The requested information could not be retrieved or is not available. This is likely due to invalid input criteria or lack of access to the information from the airline. Please revise the search parameters and try again.’

But now I look at the list of participating hotels, there is an additional column with the names of restaurants and bars within.
So you are probably right, but I don’t think it was very clear.Anybody else been having g problems with Expertflyer searches recently?

Quite a few issues at the moment especially with seat maps , they seem to have lost access to BA and some others within 24hrs of departure which is a pain!

Well, their letter says that the Ts&Cs allow them to adjust the interest rates according to their interpreation of individual circumstances?

Good morning (just) from Galleries at B Gates. Pretty quiet and a nice respite from the overly hot main terminal on our way to Toronto to explore the city and a road trip around Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. Today seems to be the first day that BA is putting old CW on this route – was Club Suites until they switched us about a month ago.
Pleasant night at The Sofitel last night. Note to @Froggee no murderous noises during the night.

Yes I noticed the lack of T-24 access last week (confirmed across multiple unrelated flights). It means you can’t now monitor the changing seat availability without checking in, which only gives you a single chance to move.
Unfortunately we had to cancel our May half term holiday due to a poorly relative, hoping to get away somewhere in late July but as it’s going to be booked last minute I’m looking at BA Holidays for the first time ever, they seem to have some good deals to Turkey – has anyone been there with them and got any recommendations ?

I’m here too! The occupancy boards were a little deceiving, wasn’t “1 out of 5” when I arrived but pretty chilled as ever. Enjoyed the breakfast options. Enjoy your trip!
Greetings from Corfu International Airport, “Ioannis Kapodistrias” (CFU), where for the first time in recent memory a BA ‘enhancement’ actually is just that!
Last year CE didn’t include lounge access so had to deploy Priority Pass. However, today was pleasantly surprised to be told to stow the card as the BA boarding card was sufficient at the GoldAir Lounge. Apparently its a ‘new agreement’ so, for once, well done BA 👏 Colour me amazed 😂
US only but something to keep an eye on.
