Email from IHG offering me up to 5 bonus nights on stays between now and 31st July.
These count towards status and rewards but not rollover over to 2026.
Yep. Received same email and registered. I’ve got a few nights coming up before end of July including 30th-31st.
+1
Just checked in, so hopefully tomorrows checkout will count…
Driving down to Heathrow on Thursday for our Friday morning flight. Radisson Red hotel stay and parking. Anybody have any recommendations for getting to T2? Bus seems to be a bit of hassle so assuming it might just be an uber. Cheers.
not sure why you think it’s hassle. I did it the other week (but to T3) and busses were frequent. Cross the road from the hotel and get any that says “Heathrow Central”. Go there, take the escalator or lift then go to T2.
I don’t know how much luggage you have but I certainly wouldn’t waste money on an Uber.
Was some years ago, and quite early in the morning, but had much difficulty getting an Uber from the Radisson to LHR – accepting then cancelling. I feel like they don’t want such short rides. I certainly wouldn’t rely on it again.
Had problems earlier while parked as the APU switchover went wrong and they had to reboot everything. Then something failed and there was no cold air. Once they fixed that in flight it’s just started snowing from the Aircon outlets on the row in front of me.
Sounds like 4 seasons in one day!
@LD27 yes, down and waiting for baggage. No idea to be honest, probably more branches of McDonald’s.
Still coughing like crazy so if they have the new sci-full face masks I might get away with it but no chance with the traditional mouthpiece ones
the new sci-full face masks
I heard these can potentially be dangerous due to something about not fully expelling oxygen or something.
Sorry, it was some elderly Australian bloke that looked like old school Captain Birdseye, could barely understand him and couldn’t lip read either due to the big white beard and pipe.
