This is today’s chat thread.

Managed to snag EDI-LHR-JNB return flights last night for next February using a 2-4-1, going business both ways.
There’s a lot of phantom availability especially on the return but I got there in the end. If anyone else is looking for South Africa in spring, worth revisiting.
Did it say your 241 had opened extra availability? Also perhaps starting in EDI helped.
In IHG news, I noticed that there are 2 new Indigo hotels opening, in Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera, although I can’t find anything definite about when they will be available to book.
No – I was hoping 2-4-1 would help but it didn’t seem to. There’s usually a banner telling you it’s extra availability isn’t there? I have been checking periodically by logging in and trying to book but failed until now.
Lots of outbound dates in first half of Feb 2026 and returns 13-18. The reward flight finder in the BA App seems to be closer to what is actually bookable now; last night it was showing lots of returns throughout Feb but when you clicked through to choose flights nothing was available.
Yes, I’ve seen the “extra availability” banner a few times, although I don’t know if it also shows it if the extra seats are linked to it being a regional departure.
That is decent availability, especially as those dates go into Feb half term.
Amex Platinum Uk Dining Benefit 2 x £100
Does anyone know for sure if Cote restaurants are included or not?
If they are, how long normally does the credit take to post?
TIA
@JAG I don’t believe they are, use the below link which clearly lists all restaurants that are part of the benefit.

I see Liverpool has had an update. The Ivy has gone. Vetch added. Hawksmoor and Bread Street remain
Quick IB question – I have checked in for a couple of upcoming flights (seems to open earlier for domestic routes) and downloaded BPs – I was hoping they would show OWE baggage allowance, but they don’t!
Anyway, I am showing as Group 1 and OH as Group 4. In practice, will we be allowed to board together, or should we not even bother trying?! It’s VGO-MAD and ACE-MAD, if that makes any difference. I think one of them is now Air Nostrum as well, lol.
