Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Claiming a British Airways refund

  • 12 posts

So, you may remember from last month how one “leg” of my BA flight was cancelled. They rebooked me, but instead of Manchester-London-Toronto-Ottawa, I was starting my trip in London & making my own way to Heathrow

Anyway, at the time, when I was rebooked, BA said to put in my refund claim AFTER the trip. I double checked I had heard this right and they said yes

I got back, oh, 4 hours ago, and despite asking two customer services people who both said to do it online, I cannot for the life of me work out how do it.

The untaken “leg” of my flight caused continued problems on my flight, the high point being it took over an hour to check me in at Ottawa yesterday. It still shows in my bookings as an untaken flight, but if I click on “refund or rebooking options, it waits for a few minutes, then dumps me back to my “welcome” page when I log into BA website

Am I being really stupid and missing something, or am I going to take to get up at 6am tomorrow to ring the call centre?
