Question for the room:
My partner flew his mum over from China on Virgin Atlantic in July and traveled back in August. She is unlikely to fly with Virgin again. We asked Virgin when we booked the flight if there was any way to claim the points from her trip and they said no, but now they have introduced a £10 transfer fee cap, we are re-evaluating. If we created a Flying Club account in her name, claimed the points from her ticket and then transferred the points to myself or my partner, does anyone would that be possible?
Thanks
Yes should be possible.
At a minimum create an FC account for her and retro claim the miles and then once they have posted try to transfer them to you.
