Class Z ineligible flight. Zero points?

Booked business class flights with cash from EDI to HKG via DOH with Qatar. Used Qcredits to upgrade to First for the DOH to HKG leg.

I received both avios and Qpoints for both legs on my QATAR status. However my wife (who credited the flight to her BA executive scheme) only received avios and BA tier points for the EDI to DOH leg. The DOH to HKG leg on first class was marked ‘class Z ineligible flight’ and zero avios and teir points awarded I would have thought she was entitled to the equivalent business class points we we paid cash for?

Anyone else come across this/suggestions on how to resolve.

@KeithEDI – as your wife credited her flight to BA, all BA can see is Z class which is the first class reward bucket and BA can’t see beyond that in order to credit the underlying business cash fare paid.

Any idea on how to resolve. Form on BA for partner missing points does nt have free text option to explain this. Original cash booking was R class. I guess phoning is only option?
