Forums Other Destination advice Clubrooms Gatwick South

    Hi there!
I’m soon flying from Gatwick South and have an option to pay the extra for Clubrooms. My flight is about 10 am so it will be a breakfast offering.
How does it compare to other PP lounges after recent reopening? Has anyone been there and can recommend?
    TIA!

Would be interested to hear about some recent experiences too. Last time I was there was February 2020 and I’d say it was worth the extra then.

If it’s anything like the BHX clubrooms then I think it’s well worth the upgrade cost

I mentioned this on today’s chat, but probably relevant for here too:

Just noticed and haven’t seen this mentioned before: a Priority pass pre-booking for the “regular” lounges at Gatwick (say the No1 Lounge) doesn’t include fast track security any more – you need to add it for £6 extra, making it £12pp in total. Which makes £15 for the Clubrooms decent value…

It changed a few weeks ago. On the last few occasions the other PP lounges were quiet in the morning so personally I wouldn’t pay the extra for advance booking when there is no fast track included. Question remains if the clubrooms is still worth it.

    Hi @Philuk,

I recently visited Clubrooms at LGW South and wrote up a review which was published by TurningLeftForLess, if you want to take a read:

    https://www.turningleftforless.com/reader-review-clubrooms-at-gatwick-south-terminal-lounge-review-march-2024/

As mentioned above, since I visited, the optics have changed as standard No. 1 lounge @ LGW pre-booking (£6) no longer includes fast track security, whereas Clubrooms pre-booking (£15) does, so it’s 100% worth the extra £9.

There’s a few extra food options inc Eggs Benedict and calmer, quieter surroundings compared to the standard lounge. Just spare yourself the distress of trying to drink the orange juice…
