Combine £175 switch offer with Barclays Avios Rewards

Hi All – Did anyone successfully use the switch offer and got both the £175 switching offer as well as Barclays Avios sign-ups bonus (25k Avios)?
Thinking of switching but wanted to confirm that you can combine both.

I think it works.

1) open premier account
2) add Avios rewards (£12/month for 1500 Avios)
3) switch account to Barclays
You get £175 within a month, and 25,000 Avios after 3 months.
Return £127 (£175 – £48 fee) and 31,000 Avios.

You could also
4) get Avios credit card at an additional £15/month to get a further 25,000 Avios
